It is a chance to see restaurant and bar staff from a popular Western Wards venue as you may never have seen them before – all glammed up and looking chic.
Staff at TGI Friday’s in Park Gate have swapped their aprons for glad rags for charity. The team at the Southampton Road diner launched a 2013 calendar posing in photos with a ‘Paris Chic’ theme.
Assistant restaurant manager Natasha Rowland, who has a background in design, gave up her own time to produce the calendar.
In 2011 a similar calendar raised over £500 for the charity Make a Wish Foundation. Now they hope to raise a similar amount for charity Springboard, which helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people get into careers in hospitality, leisure and tourism.
Antonia Osborne, General Manager at TGI Friday’s, said: “Following the success of our previous calendar we decided that we really wanted to do it again and raise as much money as we can for Springboard – a charity we all admire. Everyone at the restaurant has really got behind the calendar and gone the extra mile to make it happen.
“Our guests think the calendar is great and it’s selling quickly.”
